Yes, we are a northern community! We do have cold temperatures in the winter, but we also have over 300 days a year of sunshine. The winter weather also gives us opportunities to do all kinds of winter sports and activities. In the summer we have very long days with sunshine the majority of each day. In the winter, days are much shorter but we often see the incredible northern lights.
Great news! Buying a home in Fort St John is much more affordable than the majority of BC. There are many great realtors in FSJ who can help you search for the perfect home. The cost of buying a home is much lower in FSJ than average in BC (one of the many benefits of living here!).
